Hello, my name is Marta! Originally from Michigan, I have been a happy resident of Missouri for almost 5 years now. I obtained my master’s degree here at Mizzou, and now I am pursuing a PhD in Art History. My research is centered on the visual and material culture of Early-Modern Europe, particularly within the Low Countries. I am interested in the relationships between diverse seventeenth-century bodies and how they manifest in art and objects. Outside of my academic endeavors I enjoy running, spending time with furry friends, creating art, and reading. I look forward to assisting you in your writing process!
