Hi there! I’m Colton! I have been working for the Writing Center since August of 2020, tutoring undergraduate and graduate students. After graduating with a BA in English Literature and a BA in Spanish, I decided to continue my education by pursuing graduate studies. I am now a PhD student in the English Department at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Here, I specialize in 19th century American poetry and its connection to gender and sexuality.

I am excited to continue helping Mizzou students become better writers, even from a thousand miles away and a different time zone!
